The tour can be split into two: the museum and the fort.

The museum stretches over three rooms, each 120 m². The first room is dedicated to the officers and has a remarkable memorial to General Deffontaines. The second is dedicated to the artillery and has showpieces from the French, British and German armies. The last room finishes the chronological presentation of military equipment from the era. The second part of the tour begins with the story of this General Serré de Rivières fort, taking you right up to the present day, and is followed by an exploration of the site and its maze of corridors. Allow yourself 2 hours for the entire tour.
